This is one of my go to places for lunch for years. Decent food, relaxed atmosphere, warm staff. Their HongKong cafe style fusion plates are the best.
The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. We also enjoyed the food. We were there around 10:40 am and was able to order from their breakfast menu. While we were having breakfast we ordered from their lunch menu which starts at 11 am. For breakfast we had the omelet and soup noodle combo, soup noodle stand alone, club sandwich and baked chicken steak on rice. All was good and very reasonably priced.

Great selection of Hong Kong styled cafe food. Taste is not bad. Food is more like home cooked instead of the more greasy restaurant stuff. The owner lady is always friendly.
Honestly, 5 stars just for being open for HK breakfast. Why is it so difficult to find places open for a simple breakfast in Richmond that aren't either a)big American chain restaurants or b)some sort of millennial/gen-z crowded "it" spot. (Lido, I'm sideeying you hard.) This place did it. We had to wait just a little while for a table. It is a very tiny place. And it was worth it. Nice selection of the menu. Hit the spot so well. And the condensed milk toast Excellent service too.
Mediocre food, the staffs seems overwhelmed for the size of this restaurant, will recommend come in early to enjoy the foods. Ps. There is not much parking space available near the place.
The first day of 2019 we tried Night Owl Cafe, surprising it is good. The freshly prepare sandwich is unbeatable, taste good & spaghetti with beef steak is tasty . Drinks are good too. This is our first time here, we definitely will come frequently All breakfast menu is good
